That most kindergarteners do better than the average person. That communication is key in most things that we do in life. Social skills through the task can go a long way.

Most younger people who don’t really complicate things have a better shot at winning . To not overthink things . They can think smarter not harder

What I’ve learned from the marshmallow challenge is that it makes you talk to and socialize with people u won’t rlly talk to. The way this relates to law enforcement is by making you work with people and codonsate and change the way you do things. I think the way law enforcement can use this challenge to help is by making them work and corporate under pressure.

it’s hard for people to do the that marshmallow challenge cause they don’t have the skills. This exercise helps us to communicate with our peers and to use our minds at any situation. It teaches us to work as a team and to improve on something.

I mean I guess it teaches us how to work together with peers, while also showing how many of us work under stress or pressure. It also helps with communication. In Law enforcement it’s Essential to have good socializing skills so orders aren’t misheard or not followed correctly and nobody gets killed.

We learned that sometimes a plan isn’t always the best thing even though you may think it is. Young children don’t stress over the fact of time or how tall it is. This exercise relates to law enforcement because if each marshmallow were to be a law, and a law is not to be followed the whole tower or system is broken. Law enforcement benefits because the team gets to communicate and understand each other better as well as working together.

Today we learned that building a certain type of structure as a team with a short amount of time requires communication and effort. If everyone isn’t doing what they’re supposed to be doing the plan goes to complete failure. But if you work as a team and finish strong there will be success.

We learned that adults typically plan before, as of kids dive right in to the challenge. Also dealing with a reward the stakes are higher and people typically focus more on the prize than an effective structure. This relates to law enforcement because you have to use what is given in front of you, and on some occasions you did not have previous experience to it. Also you are under a time limit which could offer some problems but depending on your team the outcome will be dofferdif than others. Law enforcement could benefit from this by learning valuable communication skills even under a little stress, team work, solving problems, thinking outside of the box and comparing others techniques / thought process.

We learned that kindergarteners do their own ideas which benefits the team as a whole instead of following one idea. It relates to law enforcement by the teamwork that is put into an obstacle to overcome. Law enforcement can benefit by this challenge by having better communication with each other and giving each other unique ideas that would benefit the team as a whole.

kindergarteners did better on the marshmallow challenge because they started from the top and ended at the bottom. they didn’t feel pressured to finish the time given. as kids, they let their minds get as creative as they want. it’s the same in law enforcement, we all have to be open minded and work together to reach our goal.

I believe that the Kindergartens succeeded more because they see it as a fun activity not as an assignment, they have the mindset that any idea is a good idea and if it fails that’s not a bad thing. The activity ties into law enforcement because you have to be able to freely communicate with your teammates and think outside the box for certain situations.

In class, my classmates and I learned about thinking outside of the box. We intend to think so much and stress about this exercise that we overthink and become frustrated with the project. We worked as a team on this and that is important because law enforcement involved being able to think in pressurized problems and being able to work with partners and thinking straight.
