Analogies, stories, fables and case-studies are great ways to illustrate teaching, training and business lessons. Stories, examples, fables and research references add color and substance to presentations and reports, and reinforce learning of all types. Some of these stories are ironic and so can best be used to illustrate pitfalls and vulnerabilities rather than best practice. What does the story you wrote about in Journal 4.1 teach us all?

My story probably teaches a variety of lessons. First of all a main lesson to take from it is think before you do. I was around seven when I did that, and if I actually stopped and thought about it, I probably would have realized it was a bad idea. Another lesson would be not to roam around and do what ever you want in a construction site. There are usually alot of dangerous things around, and if you aren't careful you can seriously injure yourself.

My story would probably serve to teach kids to enjoy the freedom of childhood while they have it. As a kid you should be free to use your imagination and grow through your adventures. Those memories will be cherished throughout your adulthood. Also, don't mess with a bobcat!

There are many things that one can learn from my previous story. Firstly, it shows that you shouldn't do something just because everyone else is doing it. If you think it's wrong or don't like it, don't participate. However, it also teaches that you can't just stand to the side. If something is happening that could seriously hurt someone, then you shouldn't just stand and watch, you should take action to stop it.

My story that I had written was not really a lesson . I think we all go through that when we were young. I really miss those days when we all got along and just played. Just basically live your life at your fullest

What I explained in 4.1 was that every day 3 kids with no worries would have the time of there life every single day in such a simple place. So no matter where you are make the best out of it. For us it was a tree house, now it's much different but you still need to try to have fun.

I guess my story would display that, while the past was fun and is chalk full of good feelings, it's the past. It's gone forever. No point in wasting all your time wanting an old sense when you could develop a new source of wonder. As corny as I think it sounds, " Don't go chasing waterfalls.".

My story in 4.1 would probably be enjoy being a kid while your one because life goes by super fast. As you get older you'll regret not doing a lot of things, and always will have a sense in your mind of what if I would have done that. There is so much time to grow up and be an adult so while you are still a kid live life and have no regrets.

Life is dull and you have no control, but when you have those few moments where you are no longer just surviving on basic habits and instincts, you can make life bright. For one to live they must first take charge of their life.

My story would teach kids to enjoy your childhood and all the little things, because once you get older the creek you and your cousin played in will just be a creek. In addition, its not about the how big or how amazing the place is, its about who's there with you. That's what makes those memories so great.

What we learned was that it is really easy to lose a child when your not paying attention to them. Ecen if your just playing a game you shouldn't leave a small child alone.

In a way, my story would teach others that's it's always good to go go outside from where you're used to. To not stay in the same place for too long or you'll never know what else is out there.

My story teaches us that it is fine to goof off every now and again, but we need to be aware of our surroundings and be safe. While it was fun to play in the creek you never know what could be down there. We ended up finding out that there was a coyote den down there and we almost walked into it.

There's not so much you can learn from the the story I wrote yesterday aside from the fact that if you're so bored you'll do anything to become not bored. as shown by me playing with the children at the construction site.

I guess the story teaches you to enjoy your childhood. Also to enjoy the little moments you have. Because you'll grown up someday and won't have as much as you had back then as you do now.

My story is really a lesson of how you should cherish your childhood because it's the only one you have. Although it was irresponsible of us to go into that house, if it wasn't doing any harm to anyone or anything I feel there's nothing wrong with that. Every kid should enjoy their time and keep their imagination alive.

My story would probably teach that it's good to have an imagination and sometimes spend some time with yourself. I didn't have a lot of friends through this period of time so I spent lots of time by myself playing on the tracks. I learned quite a few things about myself from it. I have a sense of adventure and I like patterns since I would count how many spikes and bars of wood between each step I could reach.

well one lesson that could be learned is that playing in the dark Is not a good idea people could get hurt that is why we went home when there was no daylight left safety is always very important

My story would probably teach us that you need to cherish every moment and also that not much is needed to be happy. Money is not always happiness . You can have fun out in the country just like you can have fun at expensive entertaining centers and also that memories stick with you. And true friends are always remembered.

I think that my story tells us that everyone has a time in which they have no worry and all they have to do is play. In my opinion I believe that every child should have the opportunity to play while they're young, because time flies by and in the blink of an eye you're an adult. You should also enjoy the time that you have with family and friends because one day they could be gone and there's no going back so you should appreciate the time that you have with them to make it memorable.

My story would teach us that when your a kid and anything you play with or do is fun and doesn't matter what it is. Me and my brothers would play with anything we could find. We have all these memories we can look back on and remember them forever.

From my story from 4.1 teaches you to just be a kid when your that age. It teaches us to enjoy your life without worries and conflict, to just be you. Growing up I played with a lot of kids I go to school with today that I don't speak to now, but I still remember. It also teaches what the value of playing outside and enjoying it, instead of staying in the house all day playing video games.

My story of climbing trees taught me to look and test things before moving too high. This can be important gain too much of a false reality because as soon as you think everything is safe and sound it can all come crashing down in a blink of an eye. For instance if checked the branch I was climbing on next I might have been safe. The moral of my story is to check everything before moving to quickly.

The lesson taught from my story is that you aren't always as small as you used to be, but there is always something bigger than you. Even though we all fit in the tired then, there's something we fit in now figuratively and metaphorically as we all grow older and become adults.

My story from 4.1 would most likely reflect the fact that you don't need electronics to have fun as a kid. Many children nowadays are so glued to their phone or iPad that they miss out on so much fun. The main lesson condensed is to put down your phone and go play before you find yourself 30, missing the fun you should've had as a child.

My story would be to cherish every second of life. Even if it goes hard or go easy, love life. Enjoy it, life is way to short to have problems and have struggles. Smile while you can. Because nobody knows when we leave this earth. Also, got cut by a lot of corns.

The story I told teaches the moral that you should listen to your parents instructions. Now that I am older I see that it was dangerous to play on train tracks. My parents were just looking out for us.

What I can take away from my story in 4.1 is about taking risks. Sure, sometimes you'll fall in the creek but it's worth the risk to get to the other side. Next time, i'll make sure I can swim before I jump though.

If there was a message to my story, it would be to make sure you make your structures secured and safely. If not, someone may get hurt. In fact, I actually remember stepping on one of those nails so check your surroundings as well.

I didn't specify that I was the youngest out of my cousins in my story. With that being said it was tougher on me to keep up with them but I would try my best to so I wouldn't be left out.

The story in the last journal teaches us all even as kids we can take the sad trips and have fun. Which is what me and my siblings did when we would go to the cemetery. My parents also made sure it wasn't in a way that was disrespectful to anyone.
