My dad used to be a construction worker so as a kid I always played on construction sites. There was one time particular that my dad was doing flooring for a house that was being looked at for sale. Me and my brother were really little at the time and got the bright idea to color on the walls with sharpies. That same day someone was coming to look at the house and saw that we had colored all over the walls in the master bedroom. That was my last time I was aloud to play around at a construction site.

Back when I first moved to Texas, I went exploring in the forest behind my house. While exploring, I discovered a creek bed not far behind my house, I went and got my neighborhood friends together, and started playing in the creek. The mud was deep enough to sink us down to our shoulders, and we would have intense mud wars on good days. We would leave the creek completely coted with mud, and would use a hose to clean up afterwards.

When I was younger, my family and I would go to Mexico more often to visit my grandparents. They had a very nice property on which there was an abandoned house. We would go there very often since my grandparents kept livestock on that same property. As being an only child back then, I went off usually into the abandoned house and explored it.

When I was a kid there was an abandoned house that me and my friends would go to any time we got the chance. We would play hide and seek and act like we were hunting ghosts. It was always fun because we felt like we were doing something risky every time when actually we were always safe.

When I was about 4 years old my family Moved into the house we are currently living in. Behind it there was a creek. Throughout the years my brother and sister and I would explore it, collecting rocks and sticks and finding many different things to do. I remember one time we heard a bunch of birds chirping as if they were running away from something. When we looked up we saw a bobcat standing just a few feet away. I remember my brother and I were very scared, so I told him to run home and I followed quickly after. Over the years we have taken many pictures of that same bobcat walking around in our creek.

When I was in the fifth or sixth grade, I had a friend who had railroad tracks running through his backyard. He and two of my other guy friends would do this stupid thing called "Tebow-ing" when a train was coming. Basically, they would kneel in front of an oncoming train and sit there for as long as they could. I was smart enough not to participate, but not smart enough to tell an adult what they were doing.

There was this one time it was 4 am I was with 2 of my friends. We went to an abandoned orphanage it was scary when we got there at first when we went inside it there was a bunch of graffiti on the walls. We went up to the third story there was this long hall way and there was bricks on the ground the floor felt if it were to collapse. In the end it was an amazing time.

When I used to live in Chicago, we would frequently go to the cemetery, and when we did I use to always play on this cool monument. It was in a weird shape where 4 large pieces of metal met in a center, like a sphere. I used to play on it with my siblings and we would take turns defending it from each other.

When I was around 8 years old my family moved to Sherman. My dad promised me that we would build a tree house together and we did. After that my friend Mittchel and Reece would play in that thing from dawn till dusk every day.

As a kid, I would always be playing around with my neighborhood friends. We would even ride our bikes outside our neighborhood when we got too bored of our backyards. We once traveled a few blocks away to a neighborhood we have never been to before, some of the houses were quite old and seemed abandoned. The four of us decided to explore one of the one house that didn't look like it was about to fall over. The house was completely empty and nothing really happened but it was really exciting to go outside of where you're used.

I actually lived in a house that had been completely abandoned for about 50 years before we moved in. While my parents were busy checking out the main living area my brothers and I were exploring as much as possible. We found quite a lot of interesting stuff, some of which I still have including a few very creepy medical tools like forceps and medical tweezers.

When I was younger I played softball and I remember playing on railroad tracks by the fields we practiced on. After practice my friends would sneak off and go to the railroad tracks even though we were not allowed. We would get caught everytime and always ended up in trouble.

In an old neighborhood I lived in, there was this big field down the street. Several of my friends and I found a tractor tire there one day and ever since that day, we would go sit in the tire and act like it was the best hang out spot ever. Looking back on it now, it is crazy to think of how small we were to where we all could fit in it.

One time when I went to Mexico in my grandpas land. We went to the corn feilds. And we played hide and go seek, best experience of my life. It's like you are free in the feilds, but you really aren't you have to watch out for other people's property.

As a young kid my brother and I loved to climb rocks and explore in creeks. Him and I often went a place called Robbers Cave. This park had lost of steep rock walls we could shimmy up. On one occasion he bet me I couldn't climb a tree to a certain height. I climb all the way past reaching a dead branch soon falling out of it breaking my collar bone.

Back when I was in seventh grade I went to my friend's house and he has a creek with lots of trees that almost makes it look like a jungle. He had a boat that he made and you could tell it wasn't made very well by the screws that were sticking out of the floor. We swam in his Creek once and we still shoot bb guns there.

When I was about 8 years old, my cousin destiny and I would always like to go on little adventures. Those adventures always involved us playing in a creek near my grandmothers house. We would catch tadpoles and crickets, and then set them free after playing with them. This was our way of exploring as children, and making amazing memories.

When I was in elementary school my family moved into a new neighborhood where there were many kids around my age that Me and my brother played with. One day we found a secret shed In the back of the house and we made it into a playhouse. After school a lot of us meet up there to play and be up to no good. But eventually we moved and a lot of my memories of that place vanished until now.

When I was younger I've never been the type of kid to play outside in the dirt or go around looking for stuff to get into such as creeks or abandoned houses. My mother always kept us in the house because she wanted to know where we was all the time. Til this day I have never played in a stream, abandoned house, cemetery, or tree house. All those things sound really fun to do so eventually I will put one thing on my bucket list so I can feel like a real kid again.

When I was little me and my brothers would play at my grandparents farm in the country. We would just play all day out there. Feed the cows, chickens and goats. We would run on hills, rocks, and play in the creeks. There would always be construction work and the construction workers would always play with us or make something for us to play with.

I always played in the sewers and creeks near my area as a child. I always remember the sense of adventure and that feeling of butterflies when discovering a new hideout, or maybe lookout spot. It made me feel so cool. Sometimes I wish I could do stuff like that again, but I don't think it'll ever happen.

I spent my childhood in El Salvador & it was honestly the best . I basically grew up in corn fields since we have a lot of land ,there were creeks /streams all over the place and also mango trees .I remember me & my friends would climb the trees & get mangos & then go eat them by the stream & we would just spend time there cracking jokes & it was the best of times.

When I was small me and my cousin would play at his house because he had a big tree that we then made into a tree house. I was a lot of fun to pretend that the tree house was fort and we would try to take over the fort frome the other person. I remember just running around trying to climb the tree to get to the actual house part it was so much fun for us to do that and it brings back good memories think of it.

Back when I lived in Oklahoma, I lived in a house with a lot of land next to it. Separating our land and the acreage beside it was a small creek and I spent most of my time outside exploring the creek. I remember one day specifically when I tried to jump across the creek and I fell in.

When I was a child I never got to get out of the house. I was constantly trapped in a routine of melancholy. I would get up, go to school, go home, sleep, and repeat. My life was and is a pattern of habit. Constantly on auto pilot as I watch my life go by as a passenger in my own body.

I can relate to you to an extent since I also didn't have many adventures as a child. I hope you're able to find something that interest you and will add to your pattern.

It would have to be one of the my father took me out to go to work with him since the time we do not have a sitter. He worked as a bricklayer so I was around a whole bunch of construction equipment and whatnot. Usually I found myself either helping around or playing with the kids of the parents who call this on the job and it's not either of those I was playing with probably the sand

When I was in 8th grade I lived right down the street from the railroad tracks. I remember hours in the summer playing and finding neat things along side them. I found an old watch once and buried it in sand and brick. I would always sit on the catwalk and stare down at them and close my eyes then try to find what I was looking at before I closed them. I walked my dogs on them a lot and we played hide and seek on them at night quite a few times.

I was really the fearless, adventurous type kid who spent 75% of my time in some type of dirt. Once when it snowed a lot here me and my brother went on a little adventure through a creek. We had the most fun that I can remember that day, just the two of us running, slipping, and sliding.

When i was i kid i remember wanting a tree house. We didn't have a tree in our backyard so instead my dad made me a tree house on the ground. While we called it "the club house" it was indeed a tree house to us. me and my brothers would play knights and kill each other with sticks while having imaginary wars.

When my cousins and I were younger we spent a lot of time at one of my aunts house. For that reason My uncle decided to build us a tree house so we could have our own space to play. He was only able to build the floor of it, but even then we would still play on it. We would climb up onto the swing and then climb the rest of the way up there. We would spend our time up there telling stories which was always fun.

When I was younger me and my sister would play in our clubhouse all the time. My grandpa built for us and we played in it for hours. It has 2 bed, a chalk board, monkey bars, ladder to climb up and a swing set. To this day its still in our back yard but we are too big to go in it.

When I was child I remember how I loved to go a park where there where acres of tress and there was also a little lake. I enjoyed the peace and wildness I remember always telling my mom to take me their with my bike. Bicycling made me extremely happy especially if I was biking at my favorite place I loved the breeze of the air hitting my face and hearing all the birds chirping.
